"I just returned from a cycling trip in Sri Lanka. I wanted to let you know how much I like the Cotton quick-release system I use during trips like this. I have a Nikon D3 + 28-300 lens on one hip and a D200 + 80-400 on the other (see attached photo). I can easily cycle 100km per day like this. The best part, though, is the ability to come to a complete stop, pull a camera off and be shooting in about 2-3 seconds. My wife and I prefer cycling trips because they afford the ability to cover good distances in a day while still feeling totally connected to the environment we are passing through. I can't count the number of photos I've been able to grab due to the ability to stop and shoot almost instantaneously. Often times it's just a slight flash of colour or movement in my peripheral vision that grabs my attention and presents the opportunity to capture a moment that I never would have otherwise."
