    The Skout G2 is a lightweight, portable version of the G3 camera harness. While it won't fail under the weight of any camera gear, we recommend mid-sized or smaller setups for optimal use of the Skout G2.

Yes and comfortably! It works well under day bags and extended bags.

Yes, all systems come with instructions that are included with your purchase.

What size is it for?

The harness goes from 71cm (28 inches) around your torso up to 145cm (57 inches), 6 adjustment points available to fit a variety of body sizes for women and men.

How should the harness fit?

The harness must fit properly. You want the weight of your camera to be evenly distributed across your body and legs.

If the system is worn sloppy, you will not receive the benefits of how the system is supposed to work.

What is the maximum size it can support?

Our harnesses are designed to hold more than you can fit into them, that being said, your body can only hold a certain amount of weight and can only support lenses of a certain length. For example, a 600mm f/4 with its lens hood will probably be too long! For large telephoto lenses, we recommend attaching the camera hardware to the lens foot.

Can I still use my tripod?

Yes, you can still use your tripod. With our universal tripod adapter plate, you can go directly from your CC harness to your favorite tripod head. It is compatible with Arca-swiss and if you use another brand like Manfrotto, you simply screw the foot onto the universal adapter plate. This adapter fits approximately 95% of tripods currently created.
