Take charge

On the hip is a stylish option for medium and small cameras. It holds the camera in a stable position for those who prefer to keep their equipment around their waist.

Over your shoulder, attached to your backpack strap or using our sling harness, this is a portable style for those who prefer to carry their gear over the shoulder.

Beauty in simplicity

All systems work with the same locking system. A small piece of hardware is placed at the base of your camera that slides 90 degrees into one of our mounts. A safety strap, supplied with each system, is attached to your camera in the event of an accidental fall. And, all systems are designed to be one size fits all. With extremely stretchy straps to fit all body types, genders and sizes.

Our commitment to nature

Nous savons que la nature est précieuse et, en tant que passionnés de plein air, nous voulons protéger la planète.

1% of all sales are donated to environmental non-profit organizations.

All of our packaging is made from an average of 53% post-consumer recycled fiber.

And our systems are built to last, not end up in a landfill a year later.

On the hip

The CCS Slingbelt mount can accommodate a 70-200mm and a DSLR. It's a stylish system for those who prefer to have the camera on their waist. The Wanderer case is suitable for medium to small cameras. It can also be attached to the G3 harness or stirrup belt to carry another camera.

Andy's story

I have worked as a special effects supervisor in the film industry for over 26 years. My specialty was designing physical effects: crashing cars, people hanging from buildings, that sort of thing. The rules were simple and the only constant was functionality and 100% reliability. The KISS (Keep it simple, stupid) principle reigned. People's lives were at stake; there was no room for error.

Later, as a professional landscape photographer, I couldn't find any products to meet my need for a comfortable, secure, and accessible camera carrying solution. Of course there were bags, straps, belt clips and all sorts of shiny things. But all of them were "toys" designed by designers, not photographers. Nothing allowed me to carry my camera comfortably, safely and with quick access.

It had to be simple, with no springs or moving parts. Nothing that can fail, get stuck or break. Made with top quality materials, it had to work and be absolutely reliable in all situations. It had to provide comfort and accessibility in order to improve my photographic experience.

Ten years later, based on the enthusiastic feedback from happy customers around the world, I think I got it right. Simple, functional, high quality: Cotton Camera Carrier Systems.

There are very few companies in the world today that offer innovative, durable products that remain effective and relevant in photography, even if you own their very first generation 1 model. That's my story , the one from Cotton Carrier Systems and my original black harness, with the white inscription "cotton" just under the torso hub plate. There have been NO surprises for me over the years, as I I grew up with my favorite new and used Nikon bodies, lenses and related gear. Always..., ALWAYS..., my original CCS harness system has satisfied and served me, completely and well! How can we do better than such an original investment?

"I love using my Cotton Carrier! It's the most comfortable method I've ever used to carry my cameras in my 30+ years as a professional photographer! I carry a 150-600mm on my chest and another body with a 24-105mm every time I go on a trip I won't go on another photo shoot without it!

Frequently Asked Questions

How to use a tripod or quick release?

The hardware has a countersunk hole for using tripods. If you are using a quick release, we recommend the Universal Tripod Adapter Plate or the Arca Swiss Universal L-Bracket.

Size for short or tall people

Systems are one size fits all, ranging from 66 cm (26 inches)  to 145 cm (57 inches) waist size.

Return policy

One month of no-questions-asked returns and 3 years of technical warranty.

Does the system work for large telephoto lenses like a 600mm?

The support will not give way under the weight of your camera and lens. A 600mm puts your weight forward and for some this becomes a little awkward. The system will not fail, but it becomes a subjective matter of comfort.

Can I add another camera or binocular case after?

Yes, we offer a modular side case with camera or binocular hardware. You can also purchase the individual hardware for the cameras or binoculars independently.

Can I put my camera in the binocular carrier receiver? Or vice versa?

All parts use the same twist and lock system, allowing you to place your camera or binoculars interchangeably in any receiver.
